A British tourist died after falling ten metres from an Indian temple, apparently while taking a selfie. The tragedy happened at the Lakshmi Temple in India’s north when the middle aged man fell from the buildings second floor. He was taking a photograph of himself near the edge of a wall and it appeared he stepped back and tumbled over the edge.
Spanish authorities have recently warned of the increased risks tourists are taking, all for the sake of a good picture for social media. They have been traveling out to dangerous, but photogenic, spots such as the caves off the Javea coast, often without the proper training or equipment.
