THE new skate park, part of the Parc de la Sequia Mare project in Benidorm, has now been completed announced mayor Toni Perez. The 70,000m2 facility cost €50,000 and is part of the cities continuing goal to provide top level sporting facilities for all its citizens and visitors said Mr Perez.  The park came under some criticism from the opposition Green Party for its location and poor signage. However the governing party spokesman said that the park was intentionally constructed away from the centre to minimise noise problems for residents and that the signs erected were more than adequate.
