THE Javea Players are looking for two more performers for their upcoming presentation of the well known musical “My Fair Lady”. They are hoping to find a male singer for the chorus with a tenor or baritone voice.
The successful candidate will also be playing some small parts in the play, including Mrs Higgins’ chauffeur, a policeman and various servants. No previous experience is necessary, just a good voice and sense of rhythm as some dancing is involved.
The second requirement is for a female singer for the maids and flower-girls chorus line. If you fancy either part, contact director Cherry Cabban on 636 798 109 – age is not an issue. “My Fair Lady”, which includes many well known numbers such as “Get me to the Church on Time”, will be at the Gata de Gorgos theatre from 25 to 30 March 2019 and then moves to Elche’s Rojales Theatre for one night, April 13.
