Whirlpools World

ENGLAND have to do the business against Italy at Twickenham tomorrow (5.45 pm) and hope they kick-off with the news that Scotland has done them a favour by destroying the hundred per cent Six Nations record of Wales at Murrayfield (3.15 pm).

Warren Gatland´s Welsh side have the Grand Slam, Triple Crown, and Six Nations title in their sights on the penultimate weekend of the tournament, and worrying for all of their rivals is the fact that Wales have never lost to Scotland since Gatland started coaching them.

After a poor second-half in Cardiff a fortnight ago, England go into their clash with wooden spoon favourites Italy, with lock Maro Itoje and wing Jack Nowell as their main fitness doubts.

Italy performed bravely against Ireland in Rome, who have had a bitterly disappointing campaign in terms of quality, and they now entertain France on Sunday(4.00 pm), who have not a great deal to shout about either.
