The whole day is built on noise and colour, probably in that order!
There are over 85 different Nationalities living in La Nucia and many of them were represented in the huge hall, with so many national costumes and the aroma of international cuisine, there was no chance that anyone would go home hungry.
The whole day was very interesting & entertaining, with the stage being busy all day with musicians, singers and dancers including a number of very young performers. The U3A “Olde Tea Shoppe” was busy all day long, serving copious amounts of tea and coffee with an excellent variety of cakes & buns, all home baked and donated by the members.
We raised in excess of €500 for charity and such success makes all the hard work worth while.
