PILAR DE LA HORADADA was just one of many municipalities in Spain that held a minute´s silence this week in memory of the 193 victims of the March 11th, 2004 Madrid train bombings.
It was the largest terrorist attack ever suffered by Spain, with ten explosions detonated on board four commuter trains in the capital, with 21 people found guilty three years later on a variety of charges ranging from forgery to murder.
Pilar Mayor, Ignacio Ramos, led the tributes next to the memorial plaque at the Parque Victimas del 11M.
